Discover the artistry of John James Audubon with this handsome vintage bird illustration. Audubon is indisputably America's most famous ornithology artist. He created the original painting for this print in the 1800's for his signature natural history book ”The Birds of America”. The print is very vivid in color, the paper color is cream. It's in great shape for it's age. Print size approximately 9 x 12.
This book plate has #77 - Kingfisher on one side and #78 Carolina Wren on the other.
