Measures approx. 8-3/4” by 13” by 2” <p> This came from a private naval reference collection and was purchased new. Book is in very good condition for its age with very slight wear on cover edges. Interior pages in excellent condition, no markings. This is the well-known standard annual reference work for the world’s Navies, and is a “must -have” invaluable resource of any naval reference library. Mr. Polmar has divided the US section into Command ships, Strategic warfare (ssbn’s), Submarines (attack), Carriers, Surface combatants, Ocean escorts, after which comes a section called “Fire Support,” including the recommissioned battleships and the cruisers. After this are the amphibs, mine, and various smaller ships, including whole sections on the Coast Guard and NOAA ships.
