This package includes: return transfer between the town of Puerto Maldonado and Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica; lodging in a double superior cabaña; full board; non-alcoholic house made drinks; bottled drinking water; tea time; a selection of various guided excursiones within the reserve and its surroundings; government entrance fee to Lake Sandoval; 10% service.

Examples of Inkaterra's ongoing environmental and social sustainability practices:

  • Inkaterra runs reforestation projects to offset carbon emissions generated in each property.
  • All Inkaterra hotel amenities are home-produced and biodegradable.
  • All meals, services and therapies highlight local produce and traditions.
  • Regular training sessions on environmental issues and awareness are conducted with all Inkaterra employees.

Sustainability practices at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica:

  • Priority is given to local suppliers and products from local communities.
  • The highest percentage of workers are from the area; through training, the Lodge provides them with the opportunity to grow within the company.
  • A gift of refillable water canteens are given to all Inkaterra guests to minimize the use of plastic bottles.
  • Proper waste management, with composting of organic waste.
  • Strategic alliance with ITA/Inkaterra Association for eco excursions which benefit local communities.
