Item Description
This study of tide and surf is entitled September 4. It's an original watercolor from artist Helen Sturges Nadler of Tiverton, RI.
The artist has spent her career painting and teaching in New Mexico and New England. She finds watercolors ideal for capturing light and distance in landscapes and seascapes.
Helen has taught watercolor painting at the University of New Mexico and at RISD's School of Continuing Ed. She teaches privately now, and is a member of the Providence Art Club and the Art League of Rhode Island.
