Four (4) GOLD includes one ride on each: Comet Bobsled, Xtreme Zip, Ultra Zip, and Quicksilver.
Valid during the 2010 Summer Operating Season Only.
Comet Bobsled: Feel the rush as you speed down the Olympic track in a 4 person bobsled. A trained pilot will take you and two other passengers through 15 curves, reaching speeds up to 70 mph, and pulling close to 4 G’s of force. The Comet bobsled ride is not for the faint of heart. Billed as the most intense minute of your life, this ride will give you a very good idea of what Olympic bobsled athletes experience day in and day out.
COMET PASSENGERS MUST BE AT LEAST 14 YEARS OLD AND IN GOOD HEALTH.
Xtreme Zip: If you are looking for the World’s Steepest Zipline, you can only find it at the Utah Olympic Park. Fly down the Xtreme Zip at 50 mph along the K120 ski jumping hill. Experience the sensation of ski jumping as you zip down a cable in a harness to the base of the ski jumps.
XTREME ZIP RIDERS MUST WEIGH BETWEEN 100-275 LBS.
Ultra Zip: A shorter version of the XTREME zipline, the ULTRA starts near the top of the UOP freestyle skiing hill, adjacent to the K120 nordic ski jumping hill.
ULTRA ZIP RIDERS MUST WEIGH BETWEEN 50-100 lbs.
QUICKSILVER: This European-style alpine slide is the first of its kind in North America. It is a state of the art steel track and will allow riders to weave down a narrow course that concludes at the base of the K-64 ski jump. Experience what it’s like to slide down a track like a luge, skeleton or bobsled athlete.
Utah Olympic Park is cradled by the Wasatch Mountains and is adjacent to the Canyons Resort. The 389-acre Utah Olympic Park facilities include six Nordic jumps (K10, K20, K40, K64, K120), a 1335-meter sliding track with five start areas, freestyle aerials winter training and competition hill, 750.000-gallon freestyle aerials summer training pool, a 15,000 square foot Day Lodge, Joe Quinney Winter Sports Center, Alf Engen Ski Museum and 2002 Eccles Winter Olympic Museum.
