Item Description
This striking print of three locomotives of the New York Central System is evocative of the publicity/advertising art of the art deco period.
Donated by a friend of the station, the name of the artist is unknown, as are most other details. But it's a striking, powerful, iconic work and the frame works ideally with the strong imagery presented. It was purchased at the Rag and Bone Bindery in Newport in 2004.
Item Special Note
This beautifully framed lithograph measures 38"H x 29 1/4"W
