Item Description
This Mother and Child painting by Hyacinthe Kuller Baron has been declared, earlier this year by the artist herself, to be an original, 1970s hand-painted, oil-on-particle-board miniature. It was donated to the Rhode Island PBS Arts Auction by collector Howard Landman of West Warwick, RI.
Hyacinthe says she created this piece as part of a series on motherhood while a young mother living in Greenwich Village. The reaction to these works began her career as a full-time, nationally-recognized professional artist, which continues to this day.
Item Special Note
Coming complete with provenance, certificate of authenticity and a signed appraisal by artist Hyacinthe Kuller Baron, this original oil miniature measures 15 ½"H x 12 ½"W.
