Item Description

Vineyard owner George Fotinos learned wine making from his father Christos, who immigrated to America in 1910 from the beautiful island of Lefkas, Greece. The island is believed to be the starting point of Ulysses’ epic travels.

In 1969, the Fotinos family’s journey brought them to the heart of Carneros in Napa. Recognizing the superb grape growing capacity of the region, they were one of the area’s first farm families to focus exclusively on Pinot Noir.

Four decades later, this focus has not changed. Winemaking that started as a family’s passion has grown into a critically acclaimed art exemplifying the qualities of the Carneros region.

Two cases of Fotinos Pinot Noir: one case of the 2005 release, which was awarded a 2009 gold medal from the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and one case of the soon-to-be-released 2006 vintage. Also included is baklava (serves 30) prepared from the Fotinos family secret recipe handed down from generation to generation. Both are great for the holidays. Share the Fotinos family's legacy of Greek heritage and fine Pinot Noir.

Item Special Note

Baklava will be delivered on a mutually agreed upon date and time.

Wine to be picked up by March 1, 2010.
