This is an odds-on favorite! Located near Dollar Point in Carnelian Bay, Lynwood Cabin is an amazing destination perfect for up to 10 people. Located amid scenic U.S. Forest Service land on the North Shore, this home is the ideal spot for year-round fun. In addition to nearby beaches and recreation in the Carnelian Bay area, Tahoe City is five minutes away and is the perfect base for summer activities around Lake Tahoe (bike or raft down the Truckee River, boat or jet ski on Lake Tahoe) and features some of the best shopping and dining on the Lake. The great beach parks of King's Beach are a short ten minute drive the other direction! If you visit in winter, the world-class ski resorts at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are 15 to 20 minutes away. Or closer yet, sled, snow shoe or cross country ski out the back door when it is snowy. Hike or bike out the back door when it is sunny. This home has two upstairs bedrooms (one with private balcony) with queen beds and full bath. The main floor has a third bedroom with two twin beds and a full bath. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, where two more people can sleep comfortably near the warmth of the gas fireplace. Both full bathrooms are remodeled and there are new appliances, carpets and slate throughout the cabin. Climb down the ladder to the large bonus game room for foosball, electronic darts, TV and fun! Additional sofa bed in gameroom as well. This cabin has it all -- well-equipped kitchen, dining area for 8, spacious decks overlooking the forest (with outdoor dining and BBQ in summer), two TVs with cable and DVD players, stereo/CD player, wi-fi internet, and a washer and dryer. Don't forget to achieve total relaxation by taking a soak in the hot tub with forest views. Holiday periods are excluded. To be used by up to 10 guests for 4 nights between Nov 11, 2009 and November 11, 2010, on dates arranged by mutual agreement with the donors.
