Four people will enjoy a private 5 hour charter fishing trip on one of the most recognized charter fishing boats in Northwest Michigan - the Sea Joy. A father and son team, Captains Mike and Steve Bradley have nearly 60 years experience between them, and know the fishing grounds around Frankfort better than anyone. Sea Joy Charter Fishing is located near Northwest Michigan's most productive fishing grounds. You and your guests will hop aboard one of their two 31" twin engine fly bridge boats, equipped with state of the art electronics, electric down riggers, and proven fishing tackle. Charter fishing on the Sea Joy offers an opportunity to catch a wide variety of fish species including Lake Trout, Browns, Steelhead, Coho Salmon, and Chinook (King) Salmon. The type of fish caught in the Lake Michigan waters around Frankfort mostly depends on the time of year and water temperature, but mixed bag catches of trout and salmon are frequent throughout the fishing season in Northwest Michigan. This five hour charter is available seven days a week from mid-April through mid-October of 2010. Departure times vary with the season and are set when reservations are made. Advance booking is recommended to accommodate your specific date. Certificate credit is re-issued in the event the trip is cancelled due to weather. The captain will make the determination to cancel or re-schedule a charter fishing trip if the weather is threatening. Fishing licenses are required for participants. If you do not have a seasonal license, day licenses can be purchased for a nominal fee the day prior to your charter by calling the marina.
