Item Description

Enjoy one 750ml bottle of each of the following Italian wines:

  • Bertani Amarone 2000
  • Col D'orcia Olmaia Cabernet 2005
  • Feudi Rubrato Aglianico
  • Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Classico Reserve 2005
  • Rocca Delle Macie Roccato 2001
  • Sella & Mosca Tanca Farra 2003

The 2000 Bertani Amarone is big, rich and sexy in the way it combines fresh, vibrant rose petals, red cherries and spices with a firm, structured personality. Although it is not especially generous in its fruit, it does offer notable poise in a powerful, muscular style. Anticipated maturity: 2007 - 2012.

Col D'orcia Olmaia Cabernet 2005: Fresh, intense aromas of ripe fruit infused with spice from the oak. Full-bodied and fruit forward, structured by supple tannins.

Feudi Rubrato Aglianico is bright ruby red in color, with an intense, richly aromatic nose of red berries and spice which follow through to the palate. This is a well balanced wine with toasty oak elements on the finish.

Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Classico Reserve 2005: 90% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot blend. Bouquet is rich, intense and complex. Taste is dry, soft, gently tannic with good structure.

Rocca Delle Macie Roccato 2001: This wine is dry, particularly soft and robust. A wine to be served at 65° 68°F, it is a wonderful companion to meats and game and is ideal for dry cheeses.

Sella & Mosca Tanca Farra 2003: Full bodies, dry and graceful. Serve at room temperature and open bottle a couple of hours before pouring or decant ahead of time. Splendid with hearty red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
