Item Description
The winning bidder will adopt "Aquamarine" SHUTTER-FISH, a one-of-a-kind piece of art, and suitable for indoor or protected outdoor display.
SHUTTER-FISH are created by life-long New Orleans resident, Blayne Gothard, and her husband, Eddie. After Hurricaine Katrina, they noticed plenty of reusable building material in the trash piles in front of damaged homes. They took this "trash" home with no idea what to do with it. Later, the idea was born to use the salvaged shutters, scrap wood, broken crockery, old paint, etc. and make decorative fish.
