Item Description
Dolly has been a Denver resident for 19 years and is 35-years-old. Picking up sticks is a natural behavior for elephants and picking up a paintbrush and holding it in their trunk is merely a naturally occurring behavior that zoo keepers have turned into an enriching activity for the animals. Not only is painting enjoyable for Dolly, it is also a mentally stimulating activity that helps keep her mind active.
When Dolly isn’t working on her next creation you can find her beating the summer heat by taking a cool morning shower.
Item Special Note
The black paint in this painting is an elephant "kiss" made from Dolly's trunk print.
This painting is 18" x 14" and includes a photo and biography of the artist.
