It's our first DVSA Pop-Up "Collectors' Edition" Art Auction featuring historic pieces and collectable gems!
While we're busily preparing for our 51st Art Auction in April, get yourself into a bidding mindset with this warm-up event featuring an array of previously owned works - it's a unique opportunity to purchase original pieces by 24 accomplished artists. And like all our auctions, proceeds go directly towards supporting DVSA programs.
Online bidding closes on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. In-person viewing of the artwork is available by visiting the DVSA main foyer.
Auction Need To Knows:
- All bidding for the auction artwork is online. The artwork is also hung in our school foyer for in-person viewing (see Live Event details below).
- This auction is run on the Bidding For Good online platform, which is different from past DVSA auctions. Bidders will need to create a new account, providing a name, email address and phone number. Credit card information will only be required once you're ready to place a bid. Notifications are sent each time a participant ups your bid on a piece.
- A condition report is provided for each piece with the works sold "as is."
- Extended bidding is activated for all items and will extend the bidding closing time for pieces up to 60 minutes should there be multiple bidders interested in a piece.
- Successful bidders will have their credit card charged for the artwork(s). Please note that a 4% service fee will be applied at checkout.
- Artwork can be picked up at DVSA after 1:00 p.m. on March 1. Shipment can be arranged for most pieces for purchasers outside the GHA. Contact us a info@dvsa.ca. Shipping fees are extra and to be paid by the purchaser.
Good luck and may your bids be successful!
