Meet the Artists reception at HSCC (everyone's invited!): Thursday, September 27 from 6-7 PM

Now in its fifth year, the Our Best Friends children's art auction is organized by Burlington-based artist and teacher Teresa Davis of Davis Studio.

Teresa's elementary school-aged students complete two animal-themed acrylic paintings in her class. They choose one to keep, and one to donate to the Humane Society of Chittenden County--to help us raise money for our shelter animals.

When you purchase a painting from this auction, you're not only getting a fantastic and one-of-a-kind piece of artwork ... you're GIVING to our programs and services: animal sheltering and adoptions, cruelty investigations, trap-neuter-return of feral cats, and humane education.

Artwork specs: All peices are 22"x28" (or 28"x22"). We are happy to ship if you live at a distance, and a shipping cost for parcel post will be added to your total. Artwork may be picked up at the shelter at the Meet the Artists reception on 9/27 (see above) or anytime thereafter during our shelter's open hours: Tuesday-Friday from 1-6 or Saturday from 10-4.
