Experience and spectate the SEA Paddle NYC  like never before!

Dear SEA Paddlers, supporters, sponsors and potential spectators,

we are adding something new to the SEA Paddle NYC experience this year…

On Monday August 11 th, 2014 a fan bus that will tour Manhattan during the paddle stopping at strategic locations around the island to cheer on our fierce competitors and devoted athletes!

the fan bus will depart the Brooklyn bridge beach area just after the paddlers start their journey

it will travel north up the FDR then stop at The Water Club - located at 500 E 30th St.  There fans will await the 1st paddler and then cheer on the rest of the pack

the bus will then head north again stopping at 275 FDR Dr where fans will have access to a scenic pier on the east river and greet their favorite paddlers... enthusiastically cheering them on

the bus will head little further north to a scenic park area along the Harlem river where fans will continue to cheer on and encourage the devoted athletes to keep going strong

next the bus will turn around head a little west then north to our next destination

after all that cheering or fans may be in need of some r&r.. Well they deserve it and the next stop will provide it.  The bus will be pulling into the Boat Basin Café - on West 79th St along the scenic Hudson river.  Here fans regain their composure and root on their paddling buddies to gear them up for the last leg - the home stretch of the SEA Paddle NYC

after that the bus pulls into the final destination of the tour the state of the art Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex which is a 28-acre waterfront sports village located between 17th and 23rd Streets along Manhattan's Hudson River.

at that point when your favorite paddler ascends the gang plank and after they are clear of the media feel free to congratulation them, hug them, give them a kiss or whatever you feel is appropriate.  I am hoping to see a wedding engagement or two this year!

tickets for the fan bus will be available for purchase as an auction item through this site and at the Faherty party on July 17th.  The paddle and bus tour are on Monday August 11th 2014
