Welcome to The York Theate's Oscar Hammerstein Award Auction
Now in its 47th year, The York is the only theater in the city whose two-fold mission is to produce new musical works andrediscover musical gems from the past. In addition to acclaimed productions like Cagney and this season’s A Taste of Things To Come, the York presents 30-plus readings and workshops of new musicals by emerging writers a year through our Developmental Reading Series. We are also proud to host the Musical Theatre Training Program, offering rigorous yet nurturing training to dedicated students by New York’s top theatre professionals. Proceeds from our auction will go directly into producing more original work and providing essential training to the next generation of musical theatre artists.

Our Live Event will take place on December 5th, 2016 at the Asia Society. Bidding at the live auction at 6:00pm and will conclude at 7:40pm sharp -- all winners will be notified thereafter.
