This auction is a fun component of Zoofari that allows all zoo supporters to participate in the event even if you are not able to attend the festivities on Saturday, June 2.
Zoofari 2012 “Silver Safari” celebrates 25 years of Zoofari by harkening back to the original safari-themed event held in 1988. Silver Safari also honors the graceful giraffe – giant of the savanna. Giraffe have intrigued people across cultures in both ancient and modern times. Fans of the giraffe will find true treasures generously donated by animal loving artisans in support of Knoxville Zoo. You will also find one-a-kind art created by the zoo’s animals as part of their enrichment program. Beyond animal art and giraffe-inspired creations, we have an eclectic selection with something for everyone. So browse through our online offerings and honor all those that have donated their time, talent and wares by bidding generously.
Auction proceeds support Knoxville Zoo’s research and conservation work with the world's most endangered animals and award-winning education programming designed to connect our youth with the natural world while shaping responsible citizens of the earth.
