Item Description
Measurements: 13" wide x 17.5" tall. 14.8 lbs.
Dedicated in memory of and as tribute to the honorable RMRP Educational Ambassador Turkey Vulture.
This fired, decorative ceramic bird bath sculpture is utilitarian in the fine feathered warm months of the season, but just like Turkey Vultures who migrate south seeking warmth, this should be brought inside during cold weather to avoid freezing and cracking which would yield permanent damage.
About: Macey Stratton
This work of art is created by Macey Stratton, daughter of an RMRP volunteer. Macy's avian inspiration drives her to utilize a plethora of artistic forms, materials and techniques to bring her creative expressions to life. Focusing on ceramic sculpture she finds challenge and reward as she creates meaning out of a clump of clay. To Macey, Turkey Vultures symbolize purification and cleansing, and are a recurring subject of her work, illustrating her feelings and effort in coping with anxiety and depression.
Important: Do not lift piece by the top dish.
