Item Description
This 30" x 47" pictorial weaving from the 1960’s shows the old-style Hogan dwelling along with sheep, cattle, horses, and a woman preparing a meal with daughter by a fire. The most salient aspect of this weaving is a Navajo Weaver weaving a rung on a loom, which is difficult to portray. This may have been woven by a famous artist named Isabell John. The appraisal of value is provided by Terry DeWald, a member of the Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association.
