Promoting Success Through Professional Training and Education

The Education Foundation works to advance professionalism and future success of the foodservice industry in Wisconsin through training, education and scholarships.  The Education Foundation helps to ensure that our industry attracts motivated, well-trained employees who view foodservice as a profession worth pursuing.  Through the ProStart program, the foundation reaches 4,000 Wisconsin high school students with a cutting-edge culinary and management curriculum.  The foundation also sponsors mentoring programs and professional and student competitions to further promote professionalism and education in the foodservice industry.

Protecting the industry and the public

By training restaurant managers across Wisconsin on critical food safety concepts, the Foundation protects our entire industry from harmful outbreaks and bad inspections. The Foundation's ServSafe® program has certified or re-certified over 2,000 foodservice managers and employees in 2008.

We need your support!

Beginning in March 2011, Wisconsin Restaurant Association Education Foundation will be holding an online auction to raise much needed funds for it’s scholarship and mentoring programs and  to promote the foodservice & hospitality industry as a professional career path.  The auction and your donations will be showcased at the 2011 Wisconsin Restaurant Expo.

We need Auction items to add to our catalog. If you have valuable merchandise, gift certificates, rare collectibles, business or personal services or access to unique events, we need your contribution today.
