The Online Portion of la Saint-Valentin Silent Auction is Now Open! Let the Bidding Begin!

Bienvenue to the French-American Cultural Foundation's La Saint-Valentin Soirée's Online Silent Auction!!  Merci beaucoup for visiting our page!

The French-American Cultural Foundation is auctioning off fabulous travel packages to raise funds in support of La Maison Française — the Embassy of France’s cultural center!  When you bid on these marvelous vacation destinations, you’ll not only have a chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip, you’ll also help to promote French culture in Washington, DC. 

These travel packages will only be available via the online auction, which will also be accessible during the La Saint-Valentin Soirée event.  The silent auction will close the evening of the Saint-Valentin Soirée on February 10th, 2012. 

But the fun isn’t just online — be sure to join us for the Annual La Saint-Valentin Soirée at La Maison Française at the Embassy of France!  Spend a lovely night at the most romantic rendez-vous of the year and enjoy an evening full of music, dancing and passion that will be accompanied by stylish cocktails, glasses of bubbly as well as an exquisite savory and pastry menu.  Tickets are available for purchase on our website:www.houseoffrancedc.org

The French-American Cultural Foundation (F-ACF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to which contributions are tax-deductible. The F-ACF — in partnership with La Maison Française, the cultural center of the Embassy of France — presents a concert series featuring Baroque, jazz, cabaret and contemporary music (with selected concerts heard nationally on XM/Sirius satellite radio and locally on WETA 90.9 FM and WPFW 89.3); Kids Euro Festival, the largest children’s performing arts festival of its kind in the United States; a month-long Francophonie celebration, with more than 35 participating embassies; the Washington Street Performance Festival, featuring urban performers from France; a film program, Cinémathèque (which screened over 300 French movies in 2009); and many lectures, exhibits, and special events. Each year, La Maison Française presents more than 100 events, bringing the finest French artists to Washington area audiences.
