The KC STAAR Project Auction is now open. The auction will run from April 23rd to May 6th, 2012, with proceeds going to KC STAAR Project in order to support projects and programs for junior and senior high students in Keokuk County, Iowa. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise. So, tell your friends, family, community. Let the bidding begin!
About KC STAAR: Guided by our action team, composed of school staff, teens, parents and community leaders, the project works to accomplish these three goals:
- Decrease the percent of students who binge drink
- Increase the percent of students who believe that alcohol abuse is harmful to their health
- Increase the percent of students who disapprove of alcohol abuse
