Auction Rules
Your winning bid does not include the cost of shipping. JKHA will ship items to address specified at checkout.
Kushner parents only: You can pick up your winning item at the JKHA building beginning December 15, 2012. Item must be picked up by December 21, 2012. You can also have the item sent home with your child. When we contact you to tell you that you have won, you can let us know how you want to receive your item.
If you can't pick up your items at the school, we will ship your auction items to you at an additional cost.
If you win multiple items and they ship from the same location, shipping costs will be combined.
Auction Rules
1. Once your bid has been placed, we are unable to remove the bid.
2. Auction payments may qualify as charitable contributions to the extent the payment exceeds the value of the item and as permitted by law.
3. JKHA is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Items in the auction are not replaceable. If item arrives damaged, winner must present photos, packaging and items to shipping company in order for JKHA to refund purchase prize. If damaged item(s) are not saved, JKHA cannot help you in receiving your money back.
4. Should your credit card be declined, you are still responsible for paying the amount of your bid.
5 .In regards to gift certificates/cards, JKHA is not responsible if the business goes out of business before you can redeem your gift certificate/card.
6. All sales are final and subject to the terms stipulated by the donors. Descriptions of items have been made with every reasonable effort to be accurate, but all items are sold "as is" and without warranty or representation of any kind as to the correctness of description, genuineness, authenticity, condition, or quality or fitness for any purpose.
7. Unless otherwise specified, transportation is not included in the trip packages, and gratuity,taxes and liquor are not included in restaurant packages. All items must be redeemed by date specified in auction listing and, unless otherwise specified, dates and times are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of donor and buyer.
8. By participation in this auction, each bidder recognizes and agrees that neither JKHA school nor anyone who assists in the conduct of this auction shall be liable for any occurrence resulting from the use of auctioned items or services or for any change in operation or other act resulting in the item becoming invalid.
