Welcome to “Parties and Products for Parkinson’s 2012” a Summit4StemCell fundraising project. The goal of this fundraiser is to bring together members of our community to meet, eat, and raise money for the non-embryonic stem cell research for Parkinson’s disease that is underway at the Scripps Research Institute. All donations are tax deductible.


We have gathered hosts from all over the county who are creating a wide variety of exciting and entertaining “themed” events for the “Summit4StemCell” research. We also have a few interesting products for sale.

 

 

  • The auction ends on December 31, 2012.
  • All the events take place between January and April 2013.
  • During the month of December 2012 you will be able to purchase seats to as many events as you would like.

Here's How it Works

When you click on an item, you can sign up on this site as a bidder. 

On the website, you then can review all of the items and hosted events, entertainment, the number of seats available, time, date, prices, and additional details that are specific to the event you are interested in.


For the events, let’s say a host offers an event called, “Hike, bike and Bubbly Brunch by the Beach" or a "BBQ and Jimmy Buffet music.” You can purchase on as many seats as you like using the "Buy-it-Now" feaure. Each purchase is for one ticket for one individual person.


There are a few items that only have one seat available. Those are set up as a traditional online auction and the highest bidder will win. Keep checking those bids so you don’t miss out! – If you were outbid and you want to ensure your seat at the events you favor, you must counter with a higher bid. 


The fine print:

  1. Your bid is a contract whether you attend or not.
  2. If you want to attend and event as a couple or a family, please let us know. Some hosts have agreed to take one additional person to avoid splitting up a couple.
  3. If you find you have been outbid you are welcome to keep bidding with a higher bid.
  4. All the winning tickets must be paid for at the end of the auction period. A portion of your ticket price is tax deductible and you will receive a letter for your tax donation for the IRS by the end of 2012.
