Our Recycled Runway online auction is now open. Bidding on most items will finish at the event on May 4. Can't attend the event? No worries - bid online and you may be the lucky winner. Or better yet, let us know your maximum bid and we'll have a proxy do your bidding for you at the event.
Every bid and every purchase supports The ARTS Council's work throughout Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties.
Your bids will help as we work to inspire creativity every day - through services and support to artists and cultural organizations, grant funding and folk arts programming. As the internet meme says, "Earth without art is just eh."

A Note about our Art Auction
A big part of our job at The ARTS Council is to help people understand that artists need to be paid and that the value of their work is both aesthetic and concrete. The artists participating in our auction set the minimum bids for their pieces and are given the option of splitting the proceeds with us. We are pleased that opening bids have been set well below value to give you an opportunity to own some remarkable original art while at the same time honoring the skill and creative toil involved in making it. Special thanks to the artists who have chosen to donate their share of the proceeds to The ARTS Council.
