Osterville Village Library is auctioning the chance to have lunch with Thomas H Bradley, 3d, Chairman of Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
Online bidding will commence May 1 and the auction will conclude Thursday, July 25 at 5:00 pm.
The high bidder, and up to five friends, will enjoy their own private dining room overlooking beautiful Nantucket Sound at the exclusive Wianno Club in the lovely seaside village of Osterville, Massachusetts.
Mr. Bradley will be sure to share highlights and “tails” of Westminster Dog Shows past and present.
Also included are 6 tickets for Mutts and Martinis, a cocktail party for dogs and their owners to be held that evening from 5:30 -7:30 pm at the library.( Value $30 each)
About Mr. Bradley-
Thomas H Bradley, 3d has been involved in the show dog world since 1954, when he got his first German Shorthaired Pointer and thereafter, bred them, English Pointers and Labrador Retrievers under his kennel name “Luftnase.”( German for “nose in the air”)
A native and resident of Watertown, NY, Mr. Bradley was approved by the American Kennel Club in 1975 to judge all the Sporting breeds and Best in Show. He became Chairman of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in 2002.
Since 1990, Mr. Bradley has also devoted his time to Take the Lead, a charitable organization founded to assist dog people who are suffering from a long term or life threatening illness. Now in its twentieth year, this organization has distributed more than $3,000,000 to qualified members in need of assistance. One of Take the Leads founding members, Mr. Bradley continues to serve as its Executive Director.
