Sacramento Children's Museum's Fundraising Auction is NOW OPEN! Let the Bidding Begin!
The auction will run from 8:00 AM July 24, 2014 to 8:00 PM August 3, 2014, with proceeds going to Sacramento Children's Museum! Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the Museum's many programs, exhibits, and activities throughout the year.
Why Support Sacramento Children's Museum?
Sacramento Children's Museum's (SCM) mission is to spark a passion for life-long learning. We believe that play is an essential part of a child's "work," and we strive to provide an environment that encourages creativity and exploration for the museum's demographical age, birth to 8 years old. We are accomplishing our mission by providing a place where children are encouraged to think for themselves, expand their problem-solving abilities through creative exploration, and exercise both their bodies and their minds.
Imaginative, hands-on environments provide children with a gateway for opening up their minds to developing new abilities, building confidence, and making connections between their dreams and real world experiences. The Museum consists of interactive exhibits and educational programming designed to foster learning, creativity, confidence, and innovation in the youth of Sacramento. We are continually looking for new ways to provide engaging and educational components to our exhibits and programming that will further expand upon our mission.
