The online portion of L.A. Heat is now open. The auction will run from June 24, 2014 to July 12, 2014, with the live event taking place on July 12, 2014. Proceeds go to the Chinese American Museum in order to support the production of quality exhibitions.
Auction items available are artworks from our 10th Anniversary exhibit, LA Heat: Taste Changing Condiments, an art exhibition exploring the impact of Sriracha and Tapatio in Los Angeles. The exhibit includes a curated selection of artwork from artists of diverse backgrounds who are passionate and reflective about notions of identity, community, and foodways.
