A one of a kind piece of art!

The Rise School of Houston is excited to present for bidding this beautiful and unique collaboration between Houston artist Hanh Tran and Houston Dynamo defender Michael Chabala. 

Your bid helps The Rise School of Houston. Our school, an affiliate of Texas Children’s Hospital, is a wonderful pre-school for children with disabilities, primarily Down syndrome.  Here, children who were once given up on by society grow into students who are more than ready to be mainstreamed into regular kindergartens. 

These are inspiring children, who endure many challenges but there is a determined spirit in each of them. With the dedicated support of the teachers and therapists at Rise, these children flourish and reach monumental developmental goals.  Children with developmental disabilities are integrated with typically developing children within their age group. This unique component results in invaluable learning, friendship, and a feeling of acceptance. 

The Rise School of Houston is funded solely through the generosity of individuals, corporate donors and foundations.
