The Greenworks Auction for Rural Revitalization in North Central Massachusetts will re-open soon for a flash-bang auction that will close in mid may with proceeds going to Greenworks to help build greener communities, generate jobs, and “confront climate change one abandoned lot at a time”.
We are actively engaged in projects to help turn the banks of the Miller’s River, where it flows through the older mill towns, into an arena for adventure.
Initiatives include a mountain bike track, obstacle course and an interpretive, accessible river walk. Previously, we successfully launched a lively boathouse, soon to be handicapped accessible, a prototype phone app for visitors to the area, a summer youth adventure program run by Peak Expeditions, and more. Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to donated services guaranteed to delight and surprise.
