SAVE the DATE! The Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation will hold its 5th Annual An Evening with Oscar party on Sunday evening, February 28, 2016 in the Avalon Casino Ballroom.  The funds raised on Bidding for Good and during the auction at the event will support the ongoing and future needs of the Catalina Island Medical Center.

The Catalina Island Medical Center is a 12-bed rural designated hospital on Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California.  It has the capability of meeting the majority of the needs of the Avalon community and visitors to the island.  In addition to a fully staffed and equipped emergency room, the Medical Center treats patients in the clinic, has physical and occupational therapy services, and patients who live in the Medical Center in the Skilled Nursing Facility wing.

Most recently the Foundation has supported the Medical Center and the Avalon community by providing the funds for a bone density (DexaScan) machine, new radilogy equipment, refurbishment of the Medical Center patient and public rooms, and a color retinal camera.  The Foundation is privileged to be able to provide the financial support in this way and looks forward to continuing to meet needs in the future.  Your support on Bidding for Good will help us attain our goals.
