Dear Fellow Theatre Lovers;
What can I say? It has come to my attention that many of you have yet to bid on the League of Professional Theatre Women’s 3rd Annual “Bidding for Good” Auction site.
Are you mad??? Where else can you indulge yourself in the privacy of your home with only your computer to know your secret bids??? Imagine how delighted you will feel knowing you have the leading bid on a Broadway show, a fishing trip off the beautiful waters of Montauk, (ah yes….the “ Poor Dossy” is yar and Captain Nonny is so handsome in a Spence kind of way!) Not to mention a little r & r time with a spa visit or a lovely dinner at one of New York’s fabulous haunts! So many wonderful items await you!
But I save the best for last! ME!!! Yes, all about Me! Bid on “A Date With Kate” and I will appear at your event alive and kicking and of course, absolutely fascinating!! After last year’s appearance to a SRO crowd at The All Soul’s Church on the Upper East Side, the League has asked me to donate my time and talent to amuse and amaze you once again. Because I am a Fan of women and women’s work….how ever could I say no??
If you think by doing nothing, funds will miraculously appear in the League’s bank account I have only one word for you….Bunk!! Get busy and bid, for gawd’s sake.
