The 16th Annual PPSA Bosman Public Service Auction Gala

Main Article Image

For the past fifteen years, the University of Chicago’s Irving B. Harris School of Public Policy has held an Annual Public Service Auction. The proceeds from this fundraising event are earmarked for the Amy Marie Bosman Memorial Fellowship, which provides funding for Harris School students who have secured unpaid public service or non-profit internships for the summer between their first and second years of school.

Thanks to donations from the University of Chicago community, as well as outside businesses and organizations, the Harris School has been able to offer fellowships of $3,000 to students dedicated to helping their local and global communities. In years past, Bosman Fellowship recipients have worked on issues ranging from U.S. foreign affairs and defense in Washington, D.C., to poverty reduction and education projects at the Abdul Latif Jamel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in Santiago, Chile. We are now looking forward to the 16th Annual Public Service Auction, which will be held at the Willis Tower Skydeck on April 11, 2015.
