Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters announces Online Auction for Hart Beat Dinner!

Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters Online auction is now open! The auction is from April 20th to April 30th. You can also view the live auction items. We are auctioning off a number of fun and unique items  to raise money for our organization. The funds raised during this auction will be used for purchase of new instruments, upkeep of old instruments, and activities to enhance the experience of students of Thomas Hart Instrumental Music.

If you would like to bid on one of the live auction items, we are happy to be your proxy bidders.

Table Seating is Final!

We did our best to seat you with your friends.  And so we apologize if your seat is maybe not where you want.  But there is no changing of the seating arrangements.  Thank you for your cooperation.

GENERAL AUCTION RULES

All participants must have a bid number. 

  • Participants are responsible for all purchases made with the bid number assigned to them.
  • All sales are “as is” and final. No exchanges or refunds. 
  • All items must be paid in full by cash, personal check or credit card before the buyer’s departure from the event.
  • Unless otherwise specified or negotiated with the donor, all services and certificates are subject to availability and must be redeemed by the date specified.
  • Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters reserves the right to withdraw any items from the auction prior to the conclusion of bidding.
  • Each bidder assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. The Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters, its directors and volunteers, sponsors, agents and assigns connected with the auction shall be held harmless from any liability arising from this event and related activities. 

SILENT AUCTION PROCEDURES

  • The silent auction start and end times will be announced at the event.
  • Each silent auction item has a separate bid sheet.
  • To enter a bid in the silent auction, please sign your bid number and name on the appropriate bid sheet.
  • At the close of the silent auction, volunteer staff will determine the purchaser based on the highest bid. 

LIVE AUCTION PROCEDURES

  • Make your bid by raising your hand and/or getting the attention of the auctioneer.
  • The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer is the final purchaser.
  • In the case of a dispute, the auctioneer will have the sole discretion to determine the successful bidder.
  • An acknowledged bid constitutes a legally binding commitment by the bidder to purchase the item or service at the acknowledged bid price. 

AUCTION CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES

  • Auction checkout will announced at the event.
  • For your convenience, we will have credit card payment options available, in addition to cash or check. 

ITEM VALUE & TAX INFORMATION

  • Statements of fair market value are good faith estimates made by the donor of the item. Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters makes no warranties or representations, and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items. No statement made in this catalog or made verbally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty for tax purposes or fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless otherwise noted.
  • Willow Road Instrumental Music Boosters has made a reasonable effort to accurately describe all contributed items, and it is not liable for inaccuracies in the item description or available amenities at the time of the bidder’s use.
  • Amounts paid for auction items in excess of fair market value may be deemed a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor to assess the deductibility of any portion of your auction purchase.
