"Lily's Freedom Bracelets" Online Auction to benefit National Mill Dog Rescue is NOW OPEN for Bidding!
The Lily's Freedom Bracelets auction is now open for bidding. This auction begins on April 18th and continues through April 28th and all proceeds will go to our organization, National Mill Dog Rescue, to help us rescue and care for puppy mill dogs.
Many of the puppy mill dogs we rescue arrive wearing chains (and sometimes USDA tags). Some of these items have been incorporated into bracelets in honor of Lily, the little dog who was the inspiration behind National Mill Dog Rescue.
Each unique bracelet includes at least 1 actual link from a chain worn by a puppy mill dog, plus a tag (a close replica of the one Lily wore when she was rescued) with NMDR on one side and Lily's number #251 on the other. Several of the bracelets include the actual USDA tag that was worn by some of the dogs we rescued. Each bracelet will arrive with a small card which provides information about Lily, National Mill Dog Rescue, and the bracelet itself.

National Mill Dog Rescue is a Colorado Springs based 501(c)(3) organization that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes discarded commercial breeding dogs from puppy mills. NMDR relies on volunteers to care for the dogs, from the moment they are surrendered to the time they are adopted and beyond. They depend on the generosity of the public to provide the high level of care they do for the dogs and to continue to be able to save them. To date, National Mill Dog Rescue has saved nearly 10,000 dogs! Learn more here: www.milldogrescue.org
