Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing 9th 2-Fly Tournament Online Auction is now Closed!
The online portion of 9th Annual 2-Fly Tournament Auction is now closed. The online auction ran from April 16 to April 23, 2015, with the live Silent Auction event taking place at the 2-Fly Tournament Dinner on April 25.
Some of the exciting items in the online auction closed and were awarded on Thursday, April 23. Others will be carried over to the live Silent Auction at the 2-Fly Dinner on the 25th. For those items that carry over, the highest bidder when the online auction closes on the 23rd will become the opening bid at the live Silent Auction on the 25th. Those carry over highest online bidders also can place proxy bids on their item that will be entered for them at the live event on the 25th. They won't need to be at the live event to win their item if they are the highest bidder.
Proceeds go to PROJECT HEALING WATERS FLY FISHING, Inc. (PHWFF), which is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings. Launched at Walter Reed Army Hospital ten years ago with a hand full of patients, PHWFF has today grown to over 180 local programs in all fifty states and Canada, Puerto Rico, and Australia.
Auction items range from exotic vacation getaways to beautiful items hand-made by disabled PHWFF participants and supporters. A range of fly fishing equipment items and other donated items guaranteed to delight and surprise are available in the online auction for you to bid on.
