Farm Festival revenue supports MCS’ mission-based commitment to economic, racial and cultural diversity and educational equity that is sustained through a sliding-scale tuition policy. Approximately 70% of the school's operating expenses are covered by income from tuition. The remaining 30% comes from our endowment, the MCS Annual Fund, fundraising events and city & farm facility rentals.
Specifically, your auction bids directly support our general operating expenses including faculty and staff salaries, educational supplies for classrooms and facility maintenance.
