Auction of new paintings by emerging Phoenix artist Rick Naimark to benefit Hance Park Conservancy
Starting October 10th, we are auctioning a number of original paintings by emerging Phoenix artist Rick Naimark to benefit the Hance Park Conservancy. Naimark's colorful contemporary paintings are full of motion, texture and shape, and are inspired by nearly 30 years of working on complex urban projects and programs as a senior manager at Phoenix City Hall.
Proceeds from the auction will go to the Hance Park Conservancy, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to make the recently-adopted master plan for central Phoenix' Margaret T. Hance Park a reality.
The paintings will be exhibited in person at a Third Friday artist reception on October 16, 2015 from 6-10 p.m. at the McKinley Club, a community co-work space near downtown Phoenix' Roosevelt Row, at 800 N. First Avenue. Refreshments will be served and music will be provided by c3trio, a jazz combo that includes graduates from Arizona School for the Arts. The auction will close at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16. Naimark's work will also be on view at the McKinley Club on First Friday, November 6, 2015, from 6-10 p.m..
