Virginia Music Adventures (VMA), Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides jazz music instruction to pre-teen and teenage musicians in the Northern Virginia area and opportunities for them to perform music locally and through domestic and international tours.  Through music and performance, VMA encourages students to develop empathy and respect toward other cultures, learn teamwork, develop self-esteem, realize the benefits of hard work, conquer fear, and take risks to develop their potential. We strongly encourage our band members to give back the gift of music they have received through VMA to the community.

VMA relies on community financial support to continue to offer these programs in a cost-effective manner.   We ask that you support us in our mission to develop empathetic, accomplished civic-minded, young jazz musicians. 

Our Gala features the three VMA bands performing with Grammy Award winner and international drum star Ignacio Berroa.  He has been recognized by many as one of the greatest drummers of our times.  It will be a great show along with hors d'oeuvres, dinner and the silent and live auctions.
