SHALVA: The Association for Mentally and Physically Challenged Children in Israel

For over 25 years, SHALVA has concentrated on offering the most up to date treatments for children with special needs. With a focus on research and education, combined with wide spread advocacy for people with disabilities, the SHALVA Children’s Center provides a plethora of comprehensive programs- around the clock, seven days a week. These are provided completely free of charge to children with special needs from the entire spectrum of Israeli society, regardless of ethnicity or religion. All SHALVA programs and services are designed to help create an individual treatment program for the child while simultaneously strengthening the fabric of the family.

Therapies Include

Shalva’s operations in Israel have achieved ISO 9001/2000 recognition and certification for compliance with the highest international standards of quality management. Shalva is the first Israeli organization of its kind to attain this status.
