Test your knowledge of all things trivial at the Trivia Night Auction Party!

This year, we're trying something a bit different for the Kane Street Synagogue Auction. Trivia Night & Auction Party 2016 is a fun new fundraiser that will benefit Kane Street's youth and family programs, where you’ll get the opportunity to test your skills in an exciting game of pub-style trivia hosted by the pros from Trivial Dispute (“NYC’s Best Bar Trivia” – Village Voice).

• Create your own team beforehand or join an existing team at the event. 
• We’ll still have fantastic items to bid on in between the rounds of trivia, including exclusive salon experiences, travel and exclusive events.
• Plenty of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails and free activities & food for the kids. 

Tickets: $50 per adult and free for children.  Tickets are available at the door.

HOW DOES THIS TRIVIA GAME WORK?      & WHERE DOES THE AUCTION COME IN?

Attendees sign up to be on a trivia team of 8-10 people. These can be fellow Kane Streeters or any friends or family members, so reach out to all the people in your life. The game is hosted by professional quizmaster, Adam Kesner, who will have created 3 rounds of questions about anything and everything. You can create your own team by rounding up your friends or you can sign up without a team and we will choose team members for you to whom we'll introduce you that evening. 

Upon arrival, grab a drink and something to nosh, browse the silent auction and salon offerings, and mingle with friends. At 5:30pm, the first round of trivia begins. There will be 3 rounds of trivia, each separated by a short live auction run by illustrious KSS past presidents. During a round of trivia, Quizmaster Adam will pose trivia questions to the teams. Teams can confer, but can not consult the internet. Put away your phones! No googling!  The team with the highest score wins prizes and bragging rights.

There are 2 ways to sign up to be on a TRIVIA TEAM for the KSS Trivia Night & Auction Party 2016:

1. If you already have your own team of 8-10 players:

a) The team captain provides the team name and the names of the team members when purchasing tickets for Trivia Night online.

b) Individual team members can purchase their own tickets online and indicate whose team they are joining.

2. Sign up online as an individual, a couple, or a small group without a complete team. We’ll introduce you to the rest of your team when you arrive at Trivia Night.

Please note: Advance ticket purchases online are encouraged and appreciated! We will take registrations at the door, but urge you to sign up online now. Whatever can get done in advance will minimize registration and team formation bottlenecks the night of the event.
