The online portion of Strong Bones Gala: Orlando auction is now open. The auction will run from April 22, 2016 to May 16, 2016, with the live event taking place on May 21, 2016. Proceeds go to Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation in order to improve the quality of life for people affected by osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) through research to find treatments and a cure, education, awareness, and mutual support.

Osteogenesis imperfecta, or brittle bone disease, is a genetic disorder of the connective tissue characterized by fragile bones. While OI can create a number of challenges for those who live with it, their spirit is truly unbreakable. Many people with OI are able to live productive lives, contributing to their professions, their families and their communities.

Your help will fund vital resources that will improve the lives of families dealing with the frequent fractures, surgeries, and isolation that comes with this brittle bone disease. Proceeds from the event will help the OI Foundation respond to more than 6,000 inquiries each year, produce new information resources, fund research, and facilitate the operation of support groups across the country.
