This online-only auction contains 80+ items, ranging from $25 to $400 in value. All of these items will be sold to the highest ONLINE bidder. Bidding will close on November 30, when the winning bidders will be declared! We welcome local bidders from our region as well as those from the broader Bidding for Good community. Many of the items have a unique French flair. Go shopping for French imports, unique experiences and more.
Most items in the auction are certificates and/or gift cards that will be mailed to the winning bidders anywhere in the U.S. Other items are physical (tangible) and can be picked up at the FACC office in Seattle or in Portland. We'll ship tangible items to U.S. destinations; winning bidders will pay the packaging and shipping fees. Winning bidders will settle their payments by credit card after confirmation by the administrator at the close of the auction. After the auction closes it will take us a few days to process payments.
Curious why we call it the Beaujolais Nouveau online auction? It's because November is the month that the French celebrate new wine, and it's the time where we have a big festival at the Columbia Tower Club, in addition to this online-only auction.
All of the items are 100% donated and are carefully curated by our volunteer fundraising team. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit missions of France Education Northwest and the French-American Chamber of Commerce.
