More Information
The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia’s annual Gala is our biggest event of the year, and helps support our programs and initiatives – connecting our region’s trail network with better bicycling infrastructure, providing opportunities for young people through our Cadence Youth Cycling program, and making our community safer and healthier.
This year’s Annual Gala Fundraiser and Awards Dinner is September 29, and tickets are now available.
Taking place at Front and Palmer in Fishtown, the event will feature Feast Your Eyes Catering, libations, an auction, and an awards ceremony honoring change-makers in our region.
This year, the Maguire Award will go to Patrick Cunnane, President of Advanced Sports International.
Patrick is a founding member of the Cadence Cycling Foundation which merged with the Bicycle Coalition in 2013. He is chairman of the PeopleForBikes Coalition board. His committed efforts in youth development, education, and advocacy are truly the synthesis of the Bicycle Coalition’s mission and programs.
The Maguire Award was established in 2009, and is named for the Maguire Family of the Philadelphia Insurance Companies. It honors those who have made an impact in our community in education, fitness, and youth development.
Additionally, we’ll be honoring PennDOT Secretary Leslie S. Richards, Katie Migliocco of Capital One, and Andrew Stober of University City District.
