Welcome to the Catalina Island Medical Center Foundation's Bidding for Good homepage.  We are delighted that you are taking a look at our wonderful auction items for your bidding pleasure.  Please note that some items listed are for online bidding only or bidding at the An Evening with Oscar event to be held on February 26, 2017.  They are clearly differentiated.  Funds raised during the bidding will support the ongoing and future needs of the Catalina Island Medical Center.

The Catalina Island Medical Center is a 12-bed rural designated hospital on Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California.  Plans are being developed to replace the existing hospital within the next four years to meet State of California seismic requirements.  The new hospital will greatly enhance our ability to meet the needs of the Avalon community and the millions of visitors who choose Catalina as a vacation destination each year.

While the new hospital is being built, we will continue to provide emergency medical services in our fully staffed and equipped emergency room, inpatient care, outpatient services in the clinic, physical therapy services, and care for patients who live in the Skilled Nursing Facility.

Funds generated from An Evening with Oscar will go towards the hospital replacement project and specific requests from the hospital staff.  The Foundation is privileged to be able to provide the financial support in this way. Thank you very much for your support.
