2018 HSF Fund-a-Need: Join "Team Tech 2.0"!

To support its focus on academic excellence, the Hillsborough City School District (HCSD) is developing a new Multi-Year Technology Plan, which includes our students using devices like Chromebooks or iPads more comprehensively in all classrooms.  Why?...To better differentiate individual learning, inspire creativity, build opportunities for collaboration, develop critical thinking skills, and take our children farther with an excellent 21st century education!  This new plan will focus on the way children learn by using:

  • 1:1 Chromebooks in every 4th and 5th grade classroom
  • One device (Chromebook or iPad) for every two students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade
  • And by continuing and building upon the successful 1:1 Personalized Chromebook Program for every Crocker student

HSF’s 2018 Fund-a-Need “Team Tech 2.0” will raise funds for the purchase of brand new Chromebooks and iPads to ensure our teachers have updated tools to give our children the powerful combination of access & excellence. Your donation will help accelerate HCSD’s ability to bring up-to-date devices into every classroom.  So please, give generously and join us on "Team Tech 2.0"!

“Team Tech 2.0” Fund-a-Need Levels:

$10,000: Fill a cart with brand-new 1:1 Chromebooks for a 4th or 5th grade classroom

$5,000: Provide access to brand-new Chromebook and iPad carts for Kindergarten through 3rd grade classes

$2,500: Help enrich STEAM learning in our schools.  More Chromebooks will allow for increased collaboration in our iLabs and additional opportunities for students to practice coding skills

$1,000: Purchase three brand-new Chromebooks for Crocker students continuing to empower them to create multimedia projects that integrate content with technology

$500: Enable the use of technology for differentiated math and reading enrichment in every K-8 classroom

$100: Help jump start the purchase of brand-new devices to provide access & excellence for all our students!
