Easton Lions Charity Auction

Live Auction March 4 at Stonehill College

Main Article Image

The Easton Lions Club 32nd Annual Televised Charity Auction will be held on Sunday, MARCH 4, 2017 at Stonehill College (Shields Science Center; Pettit Atrium).  Make sure to tune in to Easton Community Access Television on Sunday, MARCH 4, 2017 from 2-7pm. For those without local cable access, the auction will also be simulcast online at EastonLionsAuction.org.

We have a Classic Car, a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible with less than 91,000 miles!

The entire body has been repainted, seats reupholstered, and convertible top replaced. Tires have less than 10,000 miles of wear.  Engine was just inspected, and new carburetor, fuel filter, and fuel gauge were installed. Car passed the Massachusetts inspection test.  Car cover, the Club lock, front seat covers, and bottles of fuel additive come with this car.  The car had been living in arid Colorado, much kinder than the Northeast weather.

Some quirky things:  Driver's door lock is "sticky" and sometimes will not unlock, the driver's seat is stuck in the furthest position, and the window handle on the rear driver's side is missing.

Want more information or to schedule a viewing of the car ?  Contact Lion Jon Mallers at 508-238-6322 or by email at j.mallers@comcast.net with "1972 VW Bug Info" in the subject line.

Stay tuned for more information and many more great items!

Stonehill College Hosts Auction

The Easton Lions Club would also like to thank Stonehill College for hosting the Televised Charity Auction in the beautiful Pettit Atrium of the Shields Science Center !

Now Accepting Donations !

We will be auctioning off fun and unique items to support research to prevent blindness, improvement of the standard of living of sight impaired people, and local scholarships, charities and community groups.  The more items we have, the more money we can raise, so we're asking for your help.

Show your support by downloading the online donation form (PDF Format) and donate to our auction, save, and then email to auction@EastonLions.org. You will be asked to provide information about the item you would like to donate, along with contact information for the donor, including name, phone number, and contact email address.

Donating items to our auction is a great way to raise money for eye research, scholarships, local community groups and youth organizations. We are looking for many new item donations this year and appreciate any items you may donate as well as any items you round up and submit on behalf of other donors.

By donating an item or service, you'll be helping to fulfill the challenge issued many years ago by Helen Keller: “To be the knights against darkness." You will also receive exposure on our website that can link back to your own web page.
