Guitar Reinterpreted auction is a fundraiser for education program at theREP

     Starting on July 6, 2018, Capital Repertory Theatre, theREP, will be auctioning off the artwork currently on exhibit in our cafe, Gallery@theREP. This auction runs until midnight August 12th, 2018

     The auction will be happening during the theatrical run of Ring of Fire (7/6/2018 - 8/12/18) You are welcome to view the artwork as an un-ticketed visitor Monday thru Friday noon to 5pm. Ticketed patrons will also be able to view the artwork 1 hour before the show and during intermission. 

     Artists were invited to contribute an original work. The only rule was that a guitar shape must to be part of the final piece. The jumping off point for inspiration was the music of Johnny Cash. 

     Proceeds from Guitar Reinterpreted auction will benefit theREP's education programs. For more information about our fabulous programs, please visit CapitalRep.org - under School of the Performing Arts.

     We are so honored to have so many wonderful artists contributing to this fundraiser. We also plan to give each artist a stipend that will be based, in part, on the final dollar amount raised.

     As the bids change in the theatre, we will be updating the online auction as well and vice versa. Please remember the dollar amount of your in theatre bid, as we are unable to put your name on the updates from the theatre.
