In order to place a bid, you must enter a credit card. No checks. It is similar to reserving a hotel room with a credit card. You will not be charged unless you "win" an item. Bidding For Good is PCI compliant, your information is secure.
Used Bidding for Good Before? Check your information and credit card to verify they are still valid. Make sure your credit card information is up to date! If not, your item will go to the next highest bidder.
Don't Remember Password? Select "Forgot Password" to receive reset instructions.
New to Bidding for Good? Select "Register" and walk through the steps required to register.
Looking for something specific? How can I search items? Type keywords in the search field. You can also view items according to their categories. Check back often since new items are often added. Select “View New Items” to see the items that have recently been added.
What are the two types of bids that I can make? 1. Straight Bid - your bid is for the exact amount you specify; OR 2. Proxy Bid - the system automatically outbids other bids placed at the minimum bid increment up to the amount you specify. Goal is to win the item at the lowest possible bid, i.e. Ebay-style bidding.
How do I make a bid? View the Item. Enter your bid amount, which must be equal to or higher than the “Next Minimum Bid” value. Select whether you want to: (1) bid this exact amount (Straight Bid); or (2) automatically outbid other bids at the items bid increment up to a certain amount (Proxy Bid). Select the credit card to use. You can add a new credit card by selecting “Add Credit Card.” A credit card is required to place a bid. Click on the “Place Bid” button. You will then be asked to confirm your bid by clicking on the “Confirm Bid” button. If your bid amount is large, you could get asked to confirm the bid a second time.
